The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed-Price contract for preventive and emergency maintenance on Naval Ocean Processing Facility’s Active Power, Inc.’s flywheel system. This requirement will be processed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13. The resulting contract is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Active Power, Inc., a division of Piller Power Systems, Inc. The Government intends to procure three years of preventive and emergency maintenance, for Naval Ocean Processing Facility.
