Food Pilot Plant Norway (the Matpilot) is a national infrastructure financed by Norges Forskningsråd [the Research Council of Norway] for research on food processing located at campus Ås. The host institution is the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and Nofima. The infrastructure is used in research, in assignments for the food industry and for exercises and master assignments for Food Science students. The majority of these students get jobs in the food industry when they are finished. FoodPilotPlant Norway could therefore be a showcase for the Norwegian Food Industry.

Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) wants to procure an evaporator. The evaporator shall mainly be in use for dairy products, but it will also be relevant for use for other food-related products. The unit shall also be used in scientific experiments and education.

The procurement value is approx. NOK 1,500,000 excluding VAT, including the described options and additional choices.
