Through the National Skills Fund, employers, sector bodies, business organisations, and training providers, have the opportunity to design and deliver employer led skills bootcamps to help fill in demand skills shortage vacancies in their industries.

We will be running a series of events to provide more information about the Skills Bootcamps opportunities in Greater Manchester and how businesses can access this funding. We’ll also be asking for feedback on this innovative reskilling model to shape the approach.

• 17th March 2022 Market Engagement Event (open to training providers, employers, and business organisations who are interested in submitting a bid for digital bootcamps).
• 24th March 2022 Collaboration Workshop (encouraging partnerships between training providers of all sizes) and employers looking to bid for digital bootcamps).

Further events for training providers in non-digital sectors will take place between April and June, in construction, green economy, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and HGV and logistics
