TenneT, as the offshore grid operator in the Dutch part of the North Sea, will be responsible for the design, fabrication, installation and operation of the offshore grid connections. For such grid connections, TenneT has developed 2 standard platform designs; a 700 MW AC and a 2GW DC offshore station. For each project, the Platform Contractor will develop this basic design into a detailed design compliant with DNV GL standard DNVGL-ST-0145.

With this Tender, TenneT aims to award a work Agreement to a contractor to act as the Certifying Authority for future 700MW AC and 2GW DC offshore high voltage converter stations in the Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), as well as award a work Agreement for a back-up contractor for the same scope.
