The procurement refers to a modern, information-secure and user-friendly library system adapted for both public and school libraries (with associated web solution for public libraries) which streamlines and facilitates the daily activities for both staff and borrowers in Jönköping municipality.

The system must be web-d and the public and school libraries' holdings must be able to be separated into different datas. The system must have a statistics tool that facilitates e.g. media planning and production of KB statistics.

The public library's website needs to be easy to navigate and clear with opportunities to mirror information on the municipality's website or integrate certain parts.

The web service will offer interactive solutions such as a chat function and enable access to information in several languages. It must also meet current accessibility requirements and Jönköping Municipality's requirements for a graphic profile.
