The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Transport and Community, needs to develop and possibly procure a tyre scanner in order to detect worn tyres. The aim of the procurement is to give the Norwegian Public Roads Administration access to sensors that can identify vehicles with worn tyres when they are in motion. By using sensors we can, to a greater degree, select vehicles with worn tyres for inspection, and use registered data for traffic management and guidance.
