Abstract: The population of Powys is approximately 138,000 and it is estimated that around 70,000 residents have access to an NHS dentist (equivalent to around 51% access). Powys Teaching Health Board recognises there needs to be additional access provided on Weekends:
Lot 1 – Saturday
A three and half-hour session each Saturday; Bank Holidays (pro-rata basis) - a three and half-hour session on each Public/Bank Holiday including Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Lot 2 – Sunday
A three and half-hour session each Sunday; Bank Holidays (pro-rata basis) - a three and half-hour session on each Public/Bank Holiday including Christmas and New Year’s Day.
