Ports Victoria is responsible for:

channel management and safe navigation in the waters of the ports of Melbourne, Geelong and Hastings
waterside emergency and marine pollution response
the management of Station Pier as Victoria’s premier cruise shipping and interstate passenger ferry facility.
Ports Victoria is looking for a suitably experienced contractor to provide for marine maintenance services for Station Pier.

The works package includes routine inspections and cyclical preventative maintenance, part of an ongoing program, plus any potential reactive maintenance. Staffing of gangways is also required for up to 50% of cruise vessel visits to the pier.

Companies with appropriate skills, experience and equipment are encouraged to apply.

Ports Victoria is preparing this open, public tender for release on 16 March 2022 at 2pm with a view to selecting a preferred contractor by June 2022.
