⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : The current system offers users a front-end server with spam filtering, back-end servers which are available POP/IMAP/Web Mail and storage servers which can store mail data capacity of 40TB about. The current system retains the ability to multi-domain Alias and mailing lists of 500 about, and more than 500,000 e-mails per day are transmitted or received. The new system will follow a basic structure of the current system and includes the following basic requirements.

① Can provide POP/IMAP/Web mail.

② Can continue to provide e-mail domain forwarding service of the current domain.

③ Can provide spam filtering.

④ Can provide sufficient storage capacity.

⑤ Can provide fast enough performance.

⑥ Can provide adequate maneuverability.

⑦ Having a sufficient scale.

⑧ Can provide a detailed e-mail filtering function.

⑨ Desirable to provide an adequate search function.

⑩ Web mail must be ed to Tokyo Tech Portal via single sign-on.

⑪ Communication with the mail server can be protected by secure communication using SSL/TLS.

⑫ Can provide a user interface that supports mobile devices.

⑬ Can handle the various problems.

⑭ Can be a smooth transition from the current system.

⑮ Can minimize time to stop mail service in an emergency such as a power failure.
