Detailed deion: Multiple upgrade and refurbishment works to the existing three-storey primary school building including; Construction of Lift Towers and associated Passenger Lift Installations to the North and South Blocks, Single-Storey Office Extension (1 nr.), New Main Entrance and Entrance Lobby Extensions to the North and South Blocks, Internal Refurbishment Works to Rear Stairwells to North and South Blocks, New Kitchen facility, Installation of a Platform Lift to the GP Hall, Roof Refurbishment Works, External Cladding Upgrade Works and External Glazed Units Replacement Works; Mechanical and Electrical Retrofit Installation Works; External Site Upgrade Works; Phasing the works accordingly to accommodate continued use of the school building.  

The Gross Internal Floor Area is 2,174m2. 

Minimum standards and qualification required: Tenderers are required to read the DoES Suitability-Assessment-Questionnaire carefully and to make sure that they meet the minimum standards stated therein. Tenderers who do not meet those requirements should not submit a tender as they will be excluded at award stage. All Tenderers are liable for their own costs of tendering. The Contract will be awarded on the basis of lowest Comparative Cost of Tender.  

Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a number of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed or be in existence prior to the date of this contract notice, with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.
