The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (hereinafter referred to as “the Contracting Authority”) wishes to engage a service provider for the provision of small-scale chauffeur-drive and related transportation services for high level parliamentary visits primarily in the greater Dublin area but also countrywide when the need arises. Tenderers must also be able to cater for occasional large-scale events/meetings/conferences in or outside the greater Dublin area where it may be necessary to have two (or more) separate transport operations/motorcades in different places at the same time. The Contracting Authority is responsible for the running of the Houses of the Oireachtas, or Irish Parliament (Dáil Éireann, Seanad Éireann and Oireachtas Committees), and acts as governing body of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service (further information is available at www.oireachtas.ie).
