The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, as represented by Geological Survey Ireland (GSI), seeks the provision of multiple fork lifts for use in storage facilities that can work in aisles of 3.0 meters wide, with pallets that are 1.65m wide and 1.2m deep, have a lift height of 8 meters and lift capacity of a minimum 2000kg for various storage facilities throughout the Republic of Ireland. The fork lift shall include provision of warranty and parts and maintenance service over 5 years from date of supply. 

This public procurement competition will be divided into 2 lots (each a “Lot”) as described below.  Each Lot will result in a separate contract.

Lot 1: Forklift for GSI storage facility located in Birr, Co. Offaly

Lot 2: Forklift for GSI storage facility located in Citywest, Co. Dublin

The tendered price shall include initial operator training for use of machine in specified location as per Lot. Tenderers shall also submit a pricing schedule for additional training which may be required for additional staff over the duration of the contract. All training must be accredited to national standards.

Parts, accessories, service and maintenance must be available between 2022 and 2027 and must be available with engineers to repair any unforeseen issues throughout the Republic of Ireland. Details of Battery and Vehicle warranties should be specified.
