This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition; a call to competition may be placed within the next 12 months.                                         

The successful tenderer for Specialist Passport Design Services will be required to work with the department, stakeholders and suppliers to support the development of a full-spectrum passport book design.  The design will incorporate visual imagery, representing key national cultural themes, ed with innovative and effective passport security design. The RFT that issues will be for the design of the passport book and card only.    A separate RFT will issue at a later date for the manufacture of passport books/cards.         

To avoid any distortion of a normal and fair competition, the successful tenderer for the Specialist Passport Design Service will be precluded from tendering or providing services in any form for the passport book manufacture or personalisation services or equipment.
