The works include the following elements:
•Site clearance within proposed works area;
•The construction of new drainage elements to connect to the existing
network;
•Full reconstruction of the existing road pavement;
•New kerb and footway construction including high quality granite
kerbs and paviors;
•The construction of new raised pedestrian crossing points;
•Installation of new uncovered bike racks;
•The installation of new street furniture including bollards, planters and
benches;
•The reinstatement of existing signage, and the provision of new
signage and road markings;
•The provision of new ducts within the footpath;
•The provision of new sections of watermain, to Irish Water standards;
•The relocation of existing lighting poles in the footpath and the
provision of new poles and luminaries; and
•The diversion/protection of existing utilities.
