The scope of this review is limited to the Divisions of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine that have responsibility for forestry. Those Divisions are: Forestry Division, Forestry Inspectorate Division and Forest Sector Development Division. It should however take into account the role and impact of the contract ecologists working on appropriate assessment and inputting into decisions on licences and approvals.
