The Cork City Schools Student Enterprise Programme, which was established in 2004, (hereinafter referred to as the programme), is an initiative that gives secondary school students the opportunity to set-up and run their own business. Students are exposed to all the realities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in today’s business world. Working in teams, they are involved in every stage of the business development from idea generation, market research, product/service development, sales & marketing, promotion, PR, financial and HR management to technical requirements of the business. The programme is part of the National Student Enterprise Programme run by the Local Enterprise Offices across the Country.
