Southampton City CCG is currently working collaboratively with CCGs across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Surrey Heath to commission comprehensive Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services for our populations. As part of this programme it is the intention of Southampton City CCG to procure a provider contract for the provision of a local clinical assessment service. The overarching aim of the service is to provide a clinical remote (largely telephony) service to assist in the management of urgent care demand within the health and care system.
