Waterford City and County Council is proposing remediation works to the southern pier seaward wall at Lady Elizabeth Cove, a summary of the scope of works is as follows:  

•    Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works;
•    Provide, maintain and dismantle traffic management for the duration of the works;
•    Disposal offsite of waste materials generated on site;
•    Set-up of suitable works plant and equipment;
•    Stockpiling of material;
•    Protection of existing services;
•    Cleaning of the pier face;
•    Breaking out loose concrete
•    doweling into pier face;
•    Concrete construction works;
•    PSCS role for the duration of the works.
