Lincolnshire County Council is inviting tenders under the Light Touch Regime, pursuant to Regulation 76(7) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR), for its regulated Homecare service. Homecare Services will meet the health and social care needs for adults aged 18 and over who are ordinarily resident in Lincolnshire. Care will be provided in the home (including Extra Care and Prison facilities) covering a range of care and support services to enable individuals to maximise their independence for as long as possible and maintain their safety. The contract shall be divided into lots with a single, lead provider awarded in each of the twelve (12) areas. Contracts shall be awarded in July 2021 with a three month transition period in which the providers shall take on all new referrals and transfer all existing service users. On 1st October 2021 services will commence in full when incumbent contracts end. The contract will run for an initial period of five years with the option to extend for a period or periods of up to a further three years.
