INVITATION TO BID FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FILTERS, BATTERIES AND TIRES FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT USE FOR ROAD REHABILITATION

1. The Municipal Government of Dumaran, Palawan, through its approved General Fund intend to apply the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Pesos (Php. 755,360.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Filters, Batteries and Tires for Heavy Equipment use for Road Rehabilitation. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected a bid opening.

2. The Municipal Government of Dumaran, Palawan now invites bids for Supply and Delivery of Filters, Batteries and Tires for Heavy Equipment use for Road Rehabilitation. Delivery of Goods is required Fifteen (15) calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed an SLCC that is similar to the contract to be bid and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the PSA consumer indices, must be at least twenty five percent (25%). The deion of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II Instruction to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Municipality of Dumaran, Palawan and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on April 26, 2021 – May 3, 2021, 9:00AM from the address below upon payment of non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by GPPB, in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (Php.1,000.00).

It may be also downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), provided that bidders shall pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 9:00AM of May 3, 2021 at BAC Secretariat, Municipal Building, Poblacion, Dumaran, Palawan. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representative who chooses to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

7. The Municipal Government of Dumaran, Palawan reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
