The Municipality of Mutia through its Bids and Awards Committee invites contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the project reflected hereunder;

NAME OF PROJECT: Purchase of IT Equipment use for the Internet Connectivity of Dep-Ed District Learning Hub & District Office

LOCATION: Mutia, Zamboanga Del Norte

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening, as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids, shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria a. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s) Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification, and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provision of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules & Regulation (IRR).

Under Section 41 of the Revised IRR of R.A. 9184, the procuring entity reserves the right to declare a failure of bidding if the funds/allotments for the project have withheld or reduced through no fault of its own. For transparency, procuring entities shall ensure that their bid documents expressly include a reservation clause on their right 1) rejects bids, 2) declare a failure of bidding, and 3) not to award the contract without incurring any liability if the funds/allotments for the said project have been withheld or reduced through no fault of its own.

The Local Government Unit of Mutia assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

The BAC reserves the right to accept or reject all bids or part thereof to waive any formality therein or to accept any work that I considered most advantageous to the Municipal Government of Mutia.
