The CRTC requires the service of a translation provider for high quality translation of English-to-French and French-to-English internal and external documents. The services will include translation, editing and proofreading. 

The service provider must provide quality-controlled translations within the service expectation detailed in this RFP. The requirement is to have three dedicated translators – two in English and one in French – assigned to the CRTC’s translation requests in order to develop a profound knowledge of the CRTC’s vocabulary and style and maintain a lexicon for other in-house translators. The translators should ensure concordance between the documents. The translators will be required to consult with subject matter experts for questions and clarifications and make corrections when needed.

Staff from all sectors will be required to upload their own translation requests through a secure portal. Delivery of documents should be returned through the secure portal.
