Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is requesting Industry feedback to identify potential vendors and solicit information on current marketplace availability, capabilities and interest for the provision of a solution or combination of solutions to support the Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS) functions of Statistic Canadas Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
The CHMS is a national survey conducted by Statistics Canada in partnership with Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada. The purpose of the survey is to collect nationally representative information regarding the general health and lifestyles of Canadians. The CHMS is collecting information on the health of Canadians by the means of questionnaires, physical measures and biospecimen collection.
This RFI is neither a call for tender nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). No agreement or contract will be entered into d on this RFI. The issuance of this RFI is not to be considered in any way as a commitment by the Government of Canada, nor as authority to potential respondents to undertake any work that could be charged to Canada. This RFI is not to be considered as a commitment to issue a subsequent solicitation or award contract(s) for the work described herein.
Respondents are requested to provide their comments, concerns and, where applicable, alternative recommendations regarding how the requirements or ives described in this RFI could be satisfied. Respondents are also invited to provide comments regarding the content, format and/or organization of any draft documents included in this RFI. Respondents should explain any assumptions they make in their responses.
Canada requests that respondents submit their responses by email to the named Contracting Authority in accordance with the date and time indicated on the first page of the RFI. Each respondent should ensure that the company name, the RFI number and closing date appear in the email subject line.
Respondents should mark any portions of their response that they consider proprietary or confidential. Canada will handle the responses in accordance with the Access to Information Act.
Canada will not reimburse any respondent for expenses incurred in responding to this RFI. Because this is not a bid solicitation, Canada will not necessarily respond to enquiries in writing or by circulating answers to all potential suppliers. However, respondents with questions regarding this RFI may direct their enquiries to the mentioned Contracting Authority.
