⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : Yamagata University Information Network System (YUnet) has provided the network connection services for the educational and research activities since FY 2018. The aging network devices of the system should be replaced to keep the security and stability of the network services.

The network system to be procured should be composed of core network switches, faculty area network switches, edge switches, routing devices, network management and monitoring systems, and equipments for network security. Since Yamagata University has 4 campuses at Kojirakawa area, Iida area, Yonezawa area and Tsuruoka area, these campuses should be connected each other via YUnet and SINET6.

The whole system must be highly reliable and work-saving, and can be operated easily.
