⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement:
A This system must respond to the demand for diverse and sophisticated education and research support of the Faculty of Information Studies. Stable operation without significant function/performance degradation during the borrowing period.
B This system mainly consists of a server system, a network system, a multi-media contents development system, an educational support system, and a printing system.
C The system configuration is simple, energy saving and labor saving are taken into consideration. It is a configuration that is easy to expand and also considered in terms of management when increasing servers and increasing specifications after starting this system operation.
D Have a maintenance system that can deal instantaneously against system failures and make stable operation.
E The server system includes a mail system, a file server system, a backup system, an authentication system, various Web systems, a portal system, a license management system, a private cloud, a monitoring system, a log management system, etc.
F As much as possible, use commercial cloud services that can create environment equivalent to that of our private cloud computing center. Even when there is a power outage at the Hamamatsu campus, make sure that there is no effect on the mail service and undergraduate web service.
G Each device making up this system is connected to each other with a high-speed network so that it can demonstrate sufficient function and performance even when 1000 users simultaneously use real-time online lessons through the Faculty of Informatics network and the university network.
H The multi-media contents development system consists of high-function client PCs, learning materials, a studio system, etc.
I The educational support system consists of a liquid crystal display and a large format printer.
J The printing system consists of a point system printer and an accounting
printer.
