The International Centre for Creative Audio feasibility study is required to provide input and direction to Ballyhoura Heritage and Environment regarding the type and size of creative audio work and associated short-term living facilities required within the national and international creative audio market.

In the context of this feasibility study, Creative Audio is taken to include the creative applications of audio within both arts and business contexts. Opportunities will include those for facilitating, creating, writing, sound design, storytelling, editing, crafting skills, technologies, marketing, branding, software development and associated tools etc.

Direction will be provided through provision of a detailed investigation and analysis of a project of a size and scale appropriate to Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. The study will determine whether it is (i) locationally appropriate, (ii) operationally, (iii) technically and (iv) financially viable.
