⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :

⒜ This system is an educational core system of Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) that provides comprehensive support for academic training, education, and administrative operations for nearly 6,500 of staff, students, and their parents. Therefore, this system shall consist of A. "Academic Information System", B. "Student Portal System", C. "Student Portfolio System", and D "Health Checkup Information Management System" to operate these 4 functions. A. The "Academic Information System" means a management system for registrations, academic records, courses, grades, curriculum, syllabi, etc. B. The "Student Portal System" means a bulletin board system for class cancellations and other information of classes. C. "Student Portfolio System" means a visualization system for academic results and progress of study ed with the Academic Affairs Information System of Kyutech. It is also required that the system shall be able to respond flexibly for further function adjustment and improvement, and shall operate 24/7/365 throughout the year except for system maintenance hours.

⒝ The operation of this system shall be a web user interface and shall be able to be displayed in multiple languages including Japanese and English. It is also required that the contents for students and staff shall have responsive web design for mobile devices.

⒞ The data stored in the current system shall be transferrable and continuously available in the new system. It is also required that the vender of this system shall be responsible to change the data codes and/or create new data upon Kyutech's request during data migration, and perform the data migration and verify the work appropriately to ensure everything completely.

⒟ The system shall be able to data with Kyutech's existing systems and additional systems to be developed in the future.

⒠ The system shall be compatible with Kyutech's existing Shibboleth IdP (Identity Provider) and SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)-d authentication infrastructure and single sign-on, and be able to provide various but selective services according to the attributes of each user.

⒡ The system shall be available through the information network of Kyutech and the off-campus information network, and have the processing capacity to handle simultaneous connections in consideration of the number of users of Kyutech.

⒢ This system shall be highly secured used securely from outside Kyutech's network system. It is also required the system shall always operate in good condition, prevent system failures, and have a sufficient maintenance support system to respond to any emergencies within 24 hours after receiving an alert.

⒣ This system shall be operated on the virtual infrastructure of Kyutech and the software license fees and costs necessary for the system operation shall be borne by the vender.

⒤ The system shall have extensibility with minimum customization of the basic core feature. It is also required that the system can be upgraded on regular s as a part of maintenance contract. The cost of the maintenance contract shall be determined after mutual discussion with Kyutech.
